燃える富士の彼方で■あの日
気付けば一週間のご無沙汰。ＧＷ前からだらけ気味。そんな折，ＧＷ恒例の実家での一枚シリーズ。去年は曾じいちゃんの写真でしたね。今年，父がおもむろにテーブルに置いた写真はこれです。
この燃えるような富士山は実家の食卓から父が撮影したもの。金色に輝く夕焼けが見る者の心を奪う光景だが，ポイントはそれだけではない｡｡｡
右下の日付に注目。
そう，９．１１ この数時間後，世界に衝撃が走ったあの日，富士山はこんなにも美しかったのです。
思えばあの事件の３ヶ月前にｄｙｃは最近パパになったＭ氏とＮＹを訪れており，当時はＷＴＣも健在だったのです。事件当日，私は当時の勤務先だったつくば工場の事務棟でひとり残業をしてました。そこに携帯へ母からの着信。
「あんた今どこにいるの？？？」
そのときは，何をゆぅとんじゃ｡｡｡ という気持ちだったが，しきりとテレビをつけろというので，会議室へ行ってスイッチを入れたテレビの画面から目に飛び込んできたのは誰もが脳裏に焼き付いて離れないだろうあの映像｡｡｡
一呼吸おいて私は母に言った。
「オレ，ニューヨークからは３ヶ月前に帰ったよ」
