以前、ここで紹介した、シュライヒのフィギュア。
会社のデスクで私を癒してくれている。（病みぎみ）
時に、モニターの脇に。
時にキーボードの上に。
時にエンジンを組ませてみたり。
居場所によっていろんな見え方をするのでとても面白い。
今日の場合はふと、動物たちを重ねてみた。
あ。
思い出したのはブレーメンの音楽隊。
かつて働き者だったロバ、イヌ、ネコ、ニワトリ。
年老いてしまい、職を追われて、ご主人のもとから逃避する。
そこで、ロバがブレーメンに行って音楽隊に入ろうと提案して
旅が始まる。
長い道中、日も暮れて、森の中で一休み。一軒の家の灯りに気付く。
中では泥棒たちがごちそうを食べながら金貨を分け合ったりしていた。
空腹でごちそうが食べたい動物たちは、ロバの上にイヌ、その上にネコ、
またその上にニワトリが乗り、一斉に鳴いた。
その声と陰に驚いた泥棒は家から一目散に逃げ出した。
ごちそうにありつけた動物たち。
落ち着きを取り戻した泥棒たちは金貨を取り戻しに帰ってくる。
が、動物たちは家に入ってくる泥棒たちに襲い掛かり、諦めさせた。
その後、居心地の良さからその家を気に入り、音楽を奏でて楽しく
暮らした。
童話には、ハッピーエンドなものもあるが、そうでないものも多数ある。
ヘンゼルとグレーテルにしても、一見、兄妹がお菓子の家まで行く冒険という
メルヘンなイメージもあるけど、側面は”母親に捨てられた子供が、森で道に
迷って魔女に騙されて捕まえられるが、隙をみて魔女を竈で焼き殺める”ような
悲哀で残酷なお話だったり。
子供のころ読んだ童話はどちらかといえば明るい印象にしか感じていなかった
ように思う。
思えば、ぼんやりしか覚えていないものだらけで、最後どうなるんだか
結末をまで言えるものは少ない。
ひとつでもふたつでも改めて読んでみようかな、と思った。
